In 1978, the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party made a major decision to implement reform and opening up, and reformed the highly centralized planned economic system into the socialist market economic system. In 1985, the factory responded to the national factory system reform and changed the original Ouhai Shacheng Valve Factory to Zhejiang Petrochemical Valve Co., Ltd.
